Digitech Solutions (“we”, “us”) operates this website to describe our products and receive enquiries from institutions. Replace the contact email below with your live address before the site is public. Have counsel review this text if you need a signed policy for tenders.

1. Who this policy covers

It covers visitors to this website (including people who send the contact form). It does not, by itself, govern student or faculty records inside Interview Lab, language labs, Virtual ChemLab, or the classroom server. Those systems typically store data on college infrastructure under the institution’s control.

2. Information we collect on this website

Enquiries

The contact form asks for name, institution, city, email, phone, product interest, seat count, lab network, and message. Submitting the form stores that enquiry in Google Firestore and sends a copy to sales@digitechsols.in. We also keep a technical IP address with the record to limit spam. The public site does not display these records.

Technical logs

If the site is hosted on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Storage, or a load balancer), Google’s infrastructure may process IP addresses, timestamps, user-agent strings, and request URLs as part of delivering and securing the site. Retention follows that product’s settings and Google Cloud’s terms.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the site does not set advertising cookies or load a third-party analytics tag. If you add Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or a chat widget, list those processors here and, where required, obtain consent.

3. Why we use that information

To understand which lab you are asking about
To operate, secure, and debug the public website
To meet legal or tender obligations if we must keep correspondence

4. Classroom software data

Lab products are designed so rosters, attendance, scores, and session data remain on the campus installation. Digitech does not need a copy of student lab records in order for a period to run. Any remote support that requires access to a college server should be authorised by the institution.

5. Sharing

We do not sell website enquiry data. We may share it with people inside Digitech who handle sales or support, with professional advisers, or if the law requires it. Hosting providers (such as Google Cloud) process traffic as processors / infrastructure providers in order to serve the site.

6. Retention

Email enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for ordinary business records (for example quotations). Server logs follow the host’s default or the retention you configure in Google Cloud.

7. Your choices

You can write to us to ask what enquiry data we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete correspondence where we are not required to keep it. Rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law may also apply, depending on the role of your institution and the nature of the data.

8. Children

This website is aimed at college administrators, faculty, and system integrators. We do not knowingly use this site to collect personal data from children for marketing.

9. Security

HTTPS on Google Cloud and ordinary email security are the baseline for this site. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send passwords, licence keys, or student databases through the public contact form.

10. International processing

If you host on Google Cloud, traffic and logs may be processed in the region you choose (the deploy files default to asia-south1) and in other locations Google uses to operate the service. Confirm the region in your Google Cloud project.

11. Changes

We may update this page when the site, hosting, or law changes. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the website after an update means you should read the new text.
